Clinical Program Manager
Kristine Black is the Clinical Program Manager of the Clinical Preparedness and Crisis Management Teams.
In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the operations of the health system’s Specialized Treatment Unit (STU), triaging, and managing system-wide calls pertaining to highly infectious disease patients and managing medical services for special events and large venues.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Black worked for 20 years in cardiothoracic surgery in a tertiary care center. She also worked in several capacities as a staff nurse, manager, and staff educator. In collaboration with cardiothoracic surgeons, she created an educational program that was used for the cardiothoracic fellowship program for new nurses.
Kristine Black earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of New Rochelle. She is currently obtaining her Master of Nursing Administration from SUNY Empire State College.
